Our local woodworkers emporium held a parking lot swap meet today and I scored a couple sweet deals. Picked up an “almost new” powermatic 701 model mortising machine and 4 new bits (1/4”, 5/16. 3/8, and 1/2”) for $250, and a delta 34-183 tenoning jig for $40. I don’t usually like to buy used tools, but these were in great shape, and the bits were still in their original packaging. I couldn’t pass it up.
