Reliant dust collector

A DC is so simple in construction that almost all the imports are the same, or very similar. The motor/impeller size is about the only variable other than the quality of the bags/filters. If you can get a good deal on that Reliant, it should serve you well. But that was a house brand for a company that went out of business quite a few years ago (Woodworker’s Warehouse, I think). You still see some of the stuff show up once in a awhile. But get good bags, and that DC will do quite well.

just watch the motor ratings of the reliant. when i was considering a CL 3hp reliant unit,m i passed on it as it drew more amperage than my 30A subpanel could spare. if this isn’t an issue for you, a 3hp for ~ $150 could be a good deal.
