How many of you remember the Popular Mechanics magazine’s power tool comparison tests?

If there is anything that’s not mentioned here in this review, it is the Sears Craftsman twin to the Black & Decker 3158K, the 27251 (a 2-speed, barrel-grip version also existed at the time of this magazine under both makes: B&D 3159K and Sears 27241).

It is that saw Sears sold back in ‘89 which has the orbital action feature, but since it is similar to B&D’s 3158K in all but name and model, no scrolling feature is available (unlike the 17210 which is included in the test).
