I finally received my jointer today, a Grizzly G0654. A jointer was the last thing on my absolutely must have tool list. With that said, they really lathered this thing up good with packing grease, and it seems like there’s going to be a lot more assembly than I expected. Wish I knew some Las Vegan woodworkers so I could have a helper on days like this. Still a very happy day though.

Congratulations!
Luckily, I’m in Texas so I can honestly say I would be happy to help if you brought it over!

RodNGun, yeah that was probably a bad choice of words. My immediate wish list is complete, I now have a complete shop. Of course there’s ton’s of other things I’d like to add, or upgrade.

Joe I hear you on the grease. I just purchased a jointer from grizzly. Shop I think will smell like grease for months.

Bieser, just curious. Did you pull off the feed tables and clean up everything internal, or did you just clean off the external stuff? I only did the external stuff, and I’m hoping that doesn’t cause problems later.

Have your say...
