I’ve been waiting since the early part of February for replacement parts for my Delta planer. I have found out through various forums that parts from Delta are back ordered due to a major screw up within the recent sale of the company. I”m wondering if there are other resources that would be able to supply the parts in a timely manner , i.e. used, so that I can get back into the groove and finish milling. Thanks and as always Work Safely! Dorado |

If you google the Delta part number as in “Delta XXXXXX-XXXX”, you may find an aftermarket dealer that has it in stock. -- I long for the days when Coke was a cola, and a joint was a bad place to be (Merle Haggard) |

What parts are they? I went through the same hung recently with my Delta band saw. I found out that all the parts I needed were not proprietary to Delta and were available through either McMaster Carr, or locally. If it’s hardware, and not an actual part, you can find it. Chris |

The parts I need are a drive pulley, drive belt, the key to hold the pulley to the shaft and the cover that guards the pulley assembly. I’ll try to google the parts and see what pops up. McMaster Carr is something I hadn’t thought of. Thanks! Dorado |

Check with a local industrial bearing supplier or with Granger the pulley will need to be sized for the shaft and the proper diameter to get the correct speed. The drive belt and key should be available at a good parts store or hardware store. On the cover I would check with a local heating and air company that makes duct work. They should be able to bend and rivit a cover you may need to add a little reinforcement with some light angle Iron avalable at most hardware stores or many big box stores. -- parts is parts |

What model of Delta Planer are the parts for? I have a TP305 with a burned up motor and could make you a great deal on the parts you’re looking for. CTobes |
