Episode 1 hidden door bookcase is finished

A pretty slick rig for cutting plywood down to size.

Looks to be a neat project. IMO, you need hearing protection, dust collection and less busy hand motions.

Thanks for your opinions and comments AandCstyle I will work on the hand motions. I work in a loud press room all day so hearing is shot already, and dust collection is in the works.

Do you have any concerns about the additional weight on the door or will you have castors on the bottom? Nicely done video, I appreciate the editing and sped up video through the cuts. One bit of constructive feedback, hopefully you don’t mind, try to eliminate “uh” and be careful not to repeat yourself. I look forward to more of the series.

Rick, I reinforced the exterior door when I installed it in the wall to hopefully handle the weight. If I see any sagging over time I guess I will install some casters. Also I’m working on my video techniques to improve, I will try and apply your suggestions.

Thanks for the compliment. Episode for is in production this last one will take a bit more time. Spring is here so shop time will be cut down and my other passion will be taking a bit of my time as well its Bass Fishing.
