Could the Admins consider adding targets to the URL links posted by the LJ's? If I'm on a computer I always right click and open In a new window but if I am on my iPad I can't do that. It's really frustrating when one is half way through a great thread and want to check out a link and it takes you off the site. Thanks.
Yes, please. There's nothing more frustrating than closing a window after reading some article or watching a video, and realizing I just closed my LJ pulse window. I'd prefer it open a new tab rather than a new window, but in any case, please stop sending me offsite every time I click a link.
Marty, I have an iPod touch, and with it if I press and hold on a link for a couple of seconds, then an option list slides up with the option to open in a new page. I never tried it on an iPad, but since they are both iOS it might be worth a try, at least until/if the admins take your suggestion.
It might be better. Sometimes when I go to a link I forget and close the link instead of using my back button. Then I have to reopen Lumberjocks. However, most of the time it's ok because I've gotten use to it and hit the back button.
Mobile friendly site would be awesome but its a good sight nonetheless
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
