Well, it’s done. I have a drain tube in my neck which is going to be there four lovely days. which means I’ll likely sleep fitfully in a recliner those four days. I just hope my cats don’t eat my neck while I sleep. lol.

Everything went fine, but I have yet to speak with anyone about it besides my wife and she is a bit sketchy about it.

The gist of it is, the salivary gland didn’t have stones in it. The duct had them, so they removed the gland and I hope they got the stones out, but they may not have gotten all the small stones that went into the duct under my tongue.

I really don’t care as long as there is no pain and the offending gland is gone.

So I should be back at woodworking in no time.

On another note. Paul Hind from Hobbithouse sent me three bowl blank glue-ups to practice on. They look really nice to me and I can’t wait to turn them out.

I have about 12 blanks waiting to be turned, plus the three paul sent me, plus a couple glue ups that I have myself.

So get ready for some serious bowlage coming your way.

Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. I love each and every one of you guys, and that’s probably the pain meds talking, LOL.

Russ, I don’t even wanna think about the stuff ya went through. Put the cat in the dust collector with a couple old cans of tuna, sit in the chair to get well, and DON’T post any pics of the knife work.
Hope ya heal well, and best regards.
Bill

The tubes do not sound like a good time to me. Get well soon.
