Looking for a fence for Unisaw refurbishing project. Biesemeyer, Shop Fox, Unifence or something similar. Would have to be shipped unless within 150 miles of S.E. Missouri. Thanks

Why not just buy a Delta T2 fence ? I have an extra Unifence and rail, but I’m not so sure that I want to let it go.

I recently added a Vega fence to my table saw and love it. The folks at Vega actually suggested I buy from Amazon since that was the best price. Easy to install and dead on the measurement.

I think the big Delta fence beats the heck out of any of the others that’s a real quality fence imho. Alistair

Scotsman, which Delta fence are you talking about ? The Unifence ? the Biesemeyer, or the T2 ? I’ve had a Unifence since 1995 and can’t imagine that any other would be better, equal maybe, but not better. In my opinion Delta made a mistake by discontinuing the Unifence recently. But that seems to be Delta lately, full of hard to imagine disasterous decisions.

T2 is a great inexpensive fence. I got mine for $158 with free shipping.

Thanks for the inforamtion, I’ve been thinking about the T2 as an option but have not seen it for $158. Jeremy, where did you get that price with free shipping?

Here’s a blog I did on the Delta T2-30 fence.

FWIW, I had a stock notification alert set with Tools Plus for the T2. About a month ago, I got a notification saying that it had been discontinued by the manufacturer. Doesn’t change it being a good fence, but they’re going to become even harder to find over time, especially around the $150 mark. Amazon currently has 2 in stock sold through CPO Outlets for $210. I imagine once those are gone they’re not coming back.

I’ve been looking for an upgrade fence for my 80’s model Craftsman 113 TS and have not seen the T2 for under $180. Tool-plus.com had it listed as unavailable for a while and now I don’t see it on their site at all. Amazon.com is showing $199 pre-shipping. I did place order with toolbarn.com for one at around $180 shipped but status since 2/28 has been “On order from manufacturer.” An email from them stated it should be in and ship on/around 3/14. Maybe it will!

Go with the Vega. Exceptionally accurate fence. I would avoid anything with Delta on it, parts and service are non-existent.

Blackie_, good post. I have a T2 fence on order for my Craftsman TS. The saw was free, so I feel ok about spending a few bucks with the aftermarket stuff.

Hotbyte, I ordered the same thing from Tool Barn a couple weeks ago and got the same message, funny.

An update on my T2 order with toolbarn.com, I received an email last night that it had been shipped and I can see it on Fed Ex tracking. Cost was a little more than I’ve seen reported ($180 w/shipping) from toolplus.com, but as mentioned in previous replies, they report that is discontinued.
