For those who have a SawStop and have added the Incra TS System, what type of fencing material did you use to ‘face’ the Incra’s fence? Also, any recommendations in the installation? Thanks. -- Don, San Antonio, TX |

I have used the Incra TS system and have never had a need to put a face on it. Is there some reason a Saw Stop requires it or is it just something you want to add? -- Every step of any project should be considered your masterpiece if you want the finished product to reflect the quality of your work. http://www.FineArtBoxes.com |

If the blade on the SawStop touches the metal fence (while running or winding down), it will trip the brake and require a new brake and saw blade. I’ve heard were a brake was activated because of static and being too close to a metal fence…hence the need for an auxiliary fence. -- Don, San Antonio, TX |
