Good morning. I signed up last night while searching the web for workbench ideas. My name is Joel from Oregon. I work as a locomotive engineer for the railroad and am on call most of the time, so with what time off I do have, I spend time with family and do the woodworking gig. I started woodworking about 4 years ago with simple projects. Built a small entertainment center with pullout drawers to hold about 300 DVDs. All joints are rabbet and dado with drawer lock joints for the drawers. I borrowed a router to get started, then purchased my own along with a new router table top. From then on I’ve been slowly adding to my tool collection. In all, woodworking is relaxing. More to come… Joel -- Very "Green" to woodworking. Start slow, then taper off...... |
