Just under 2 feet here in the Shenandoah valley. What are you seeing?

This is from this morning

Looks cold! We are having a warm period right now. about 46F today. All our snow has melted, but they said in the newspaper that the ground is still frozen down to over 36”. That should take some time to thaw.

Tim, no snow but… a cold miserable day on the Chesapeake Bay. Wind at 40 knots and gusting almost to 50 at Cove Point. I live between Chesapeake Beach and Breezy Point and I cannot imagine being on the Bay today in any size vessel. Wind is 32 knots at Holland Point in southern Anne Arundel County, about 30 minutes south of Annapolis. The wind-driven rain makes it the perfect day for testing foul weather gear!

Ours has been all rain. but if it was snow we’d have about 3’ because it seems to be about 3” of rain.

We lost power in the middle of the storm, back on now. Ended up with about 22”, the town I work in has 29”

Mike, It wasn’t that cold, at or just below freezing. The ground is not frozen here, I guess you will not be gardening anytime soon :).

Bob, I bet it was quite windy down your way!

Here in NJ, outside Philly, we got nothing. A bit of rain and a lot of wind, but not a flake of snow. I hear hte Nj shore got a bit, but overall it missed us.

Still below freezing temperatures much of the time, but the sun is starting to melt the snow. As March advances, Mike and I will get a lot more hours of daylight, and that will help defrost us….........

Already getting it Jim! It’s light to about 18.30 now. Bad news for me. The dreaded gardening and house painting season is rapidly approaching and the woodworking season is rapidly receding. On the positive side, I’ve gotten a lot more feeble, so I will be getting a lot of help from my teenage grandkids with the painting this year. I’m hoping that will translate into more shop time. it’s good to have a dream!
