Topic tags/keywords: pedestal table taper miter

My next project is a pedestal table. The pedestal is square but tapers up. Any ideas? I was thinking about cutting the taper then the miter on each side???

Rob, I agree with your process. I think I would try a lock miter router bit to make the miters. That would make the glue up much easier. HTH
