Hi everyone, taking in some considerations for a table finish. I just want to avoid the plastic look. I like using waterlox, velvet oil, well any oil for that matter.

thanks,
-Jordan

I would suggest a Danish oil type of finish. This oil + resins. The resins add some protection but it’s easily renewable like with oil. You can make your own with 1/3 BLO, 1/3 spirits, 1/3 satin finish polyurethane. You can also replace the BLO with boiled tung oil if you want.
