Using lumber jocks to sell

First off let me say I have no feeling one way or the other about using LJ forums to sell things, I am wondering what the policy is and how other members feel about the practice.
I posted one Item for sale that was just taking up space in my shop just hoping someone could use it and I could get a few $ for my trouble.
It seems to me that a classified section for wood, tools, and related items would be a nice addition to the site we all have things we don’t need and a list of things we think we need. Thoughts?
