I'm also awaiting inspiration for these cedar logs....I have 4 this size....I've been thinking columns for a pergola out by the hot tub.....maybe carving them to add some more interest.....lizards of course.

Any other ideas for either?

Hi Bob
That’s quite a root ball. It must have been growing in a round tub.

You’ll think of something with the Cedar. I know if I had them logs, it wouldn’t take me long to make something. A pergola sounds good though.

Hmmmm. Wait a minute. I think MsDebbieP’s last name is Roswell. All of this alien talk is scaring me…. lol

They are both great pieces of wood. I think we need to have Frank ask them. As far as I can tell he speaks their language the best.

Maybe Dennis or Debbie can give some ideas? They have a knack for the rustic look. Of course we can not forget Dick either, having seen some of his work too.

That looks like something will come of it. The cedar logs are definately colum material. Around what, I have no idea.

yes, I’m of the alien line … lol .. it still makes me jump when I see my name being talked about.. hehehe

table: I see a tiki hut or something like that, next to a fish pond or something.
the logs? ooooooh my – I don’t think it matters what you do with these, it will be wonderful. Perhaps you can make a GiANT “table” matching your mini version.
I like the hot tub idea.

Nice looking logs. Make great legs for a flying saucer.

I see a dog with a frizzy hairdo gone quite awry.
