Been in the market for a plunge base for my pc690 router. While surfing CL came across a guy who was getting out of WW and clearing out his tools and had some pc stuff for sale so I jumped in my truck and headed over.

When I got there I was overwhelmed by all the stuff he had packed in this small shop, Drill presses, lathes, clamps, routers, planes, jigs, books, sanders, saws ,more stuff than I could focus on, and totally unorganized.

I told him I was interested in some of the router stuff and he said all of the router stuff goes together for $300.

I paced back and forth thinking how I planned on spending about $50., and just 2 weeks earlier I bought a TS on CL. I told him I’d take it and left without looking too hard at anything else. I’m turning into a tool monger.

Here’s what I came home with:Image and video hosting by TinyPic

Looks like a score to me, some of that stuff gets spendy.

Forget ‘gets spendy’ – already ‘is spendy’. Well done, weldoman.

The Rockler table and lift looks like more the $300 worth. How long did you pace back and forth? ;-) I’m sure your sacrifices to make a financial recovery are worth it!

Trouble is, I didn’t need a router table( but the lift is slick) or 2 more pc 690s,( propably be nice when I’m making doors) all I ” needed” was the plunge base. I need to check myself into the clinic.

Topa, I know I paced a good 15 -20 secs., cold sweat and all.

Very jealous of that router lift.

I’m sure you can sell off what you don’t want and make a profit.

Yup, you’ve got it bad. Too help alleviate your suffering, I’m willing to sacrafice and offer you a place to keep these items in my shop so you’re not continually tormented by them.

Just ship them to HerbC, Panama City, FL (shipping prepaid, of course). You can send the tracking number on to me by private message.

Be Careful!
