hi, new to the forum, thank you for all the welcoming comments!
sorry if this has been asked before. i’m trying to reassemble a good desk and a few of these screws got damaged in a recent move. so i come seeking some expertise on the matter.

as you can see, this screw has a lip that acts as a stop, and the stem fits into an adjoining piece into a round locking piece that you turn to grab the screw in place.

is this something i can easily acquire in a store or online? if not, is there any alternative piece i could use in place of these screws? any leads would be very helpful and much appreciated.

It is half of a standard knock down fastener. See http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?Offerings_ID=10517&TabSelect=Details

you do need to check to see if it is the right length, ie the setback of the cam could vary for different mfgs. may need to do a bit of research to find the one you need. The borg may well carry also.
