Dick - I’m certainly not an expert in this area, but I how I approach image and video posting. I use a Mac laptop and use the onboard software for most of my work (iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD & iWeb). Sometimes I also use Adobe PhotoShop (images) and Apple Final Cut (video). I use a Nikon digital SLR or a Sony digital point-and-shoot for digital images and a Sony digital video camera. I do a lot of digital graphic work for fun and for work. Digital Images Video Content Hope this helps! |

I’ve been using brightcove.com for video and photobucket.com for stills. Brightcove has an easy interface and a does a nice job of compressing the video. It also make it easy to put the html in any posts you make. -- Bob, Carver Massachusetts, Sawdust Maker http://www.capecodbaychallenge.org |

I’m using http://www.Flickr.com and it works great for me. You can upload 6 pictures at a time and it has lots of features that I have yet to explore. It is the only site I have tried. -- We must guard our enthusiasm as we would our life - James Krenov |

I have been using Photobucket. You can create slideshows, host videos, (even though I don’t have any) and upload 10-15 at a time. The have the urls and you just click on it and it is copied, so it makes it easier to post. You have about 5-6 options for resizing a picture which makes it very easy. There is not a useful way to crop a photo so I just use Microsoft Picture Manager for that task. -- Fred Childs, Pasadena, CA - - - Law of the Workshop: Any tool, when dropped, will roll to the least accessible corner. |

I am using flickr.com. If you download their uploader software, you can upload unlimited photos. You just drag the photos to the uploader and hit upload. Simple! I have used youtube and blip.tv and found the blip video to look a little nicer and upload quicker. -- -John "Do I have to keep typing a smiley?
