Thanks for replying, it truly is a beautiful piece. Depending on where the piece is placed the base doesn’t draw my eye away at all, especially in the side views. Its kind of hard to tell from the above looking down photo as the contrast between the background and the base is minimal. Doug, Dick you guys are pikers compared to my mess I’ve still got you hands down. You gotta do way worse than that to beat me. You remember those two paslode guns laying on my work bench, they’re still there. I’m knee deep in shavings under, over and around my lathe. Don’t make me post pictures. I am afraid I am a tidy freak I always tidy up more or less everytime I do a project so I am out.I cannot be bothered walking in one daqy and having to spenmd a week sorting things out before I can start a project.Don’t misunderstand me when all the machines are going it can get a bit messy but always when I finish a project with my dear wifes help I do a major cleaan up.PS Like your hair Ms Debbie unusual but cute lol Alistair -- excuse my typing as I have a form of parkinsons disease |
