Unique Description for wood.

I have contracted with a company to manufacture a tavern style bar for their restaurant. The wood selected was to be hard maple. I received an e-mail a day after the contract was accepted stating they would like to have a meeting to possibly change the wood the bar was to be made from.

Today I had the meeting. The person calling the meeting said they were uncertain what type of wood it really was or it’s name. But, it had stretch marks!

That’s right. It turned out to be quarter sawn white oak. I just thought I would share a little humor while I wait for the storm.
