LOL I’m looking for an easy method method to create the planks needed to create stripper canoes. I presently rip my strips with a thin kerf saw blade on a table saw. Then running the strips using a bead and cove cutters on a shapper. What my objective is to create them efficantly with a minimum of waste. That’s not happening. Then theirs the time required needed to scarf boards together and then planing the stock down to size. This is a lot of work! And drives the cost of the finished product up. It looks as though I’ll be doing boats for a long time just to coupe my expenses up to this point. |
