hello all

my shop is in my basement. i was thinking of painting the floor joists which aer exposed and the


underlayment which is also exposed. i was wondering if it would reflect anymore light and brighten things up. any thoughts?

That will work. If you have not done so you may want to consider painting the floor and/or walls as well.

We painted the floor joists and sub floor ‘ceiling’ in the basement of our old house. I think we used an eggshell finish. The difference was amazing.
