Well, I still haven’t heard when I’m scheduled for surgery to take out my lower left salivary gland. It’s large and painful and I have to take vicodin every 4 hours or so to keep the pain down so I can eat and talk.

I won’t use heavy machinery while I’m taking this drug, so I’m kind of on hold.

I can make a few cuts and maybe work on some clocks I have in mind. But as far as turning anything, I figure it’s better to wait. The drug makes my mind kind of wander so I want to stay off things that could kill me.

Meanwhile I am working on a clock that will have a pendulum but the pendulum will not be functional, just for show. That is if the parts ever arrive.

That’s a good idea to stay away from the machinery when your on pain meds and your uncertain. there’s days when I just go in the shop and just clean and sort sruff out when it’s to much for me. Better to be Safe than Sorry! ;)

Ewwww. Sorry to hear that. Not sure what kind of shape your shop is in, but I find it somewhat satisfying to tidy up, rearrange, etc when I’m under the weather.

Keep your chin up, and the drool wiped off!
