I’ve been a troller for years on here, my first post is a begging one. I’m looking for original parts from the r4511 fence system. Specifically, the front angle iron, and lock knob.

Angle iron can be sourced from lots of places, including a steel or welding supply house.

The fence on the R4511 is the same one used on some of the entry level Steel City saws (35990, 35925, 35926), so parts could be available from them as well.

Thank you. I’m aware that parts may be available . I was trying to avoid the $ 80+ on a piece of angle iron. I’m trying to find a less expensive alternative, as well as, avoiding the three week turnaround. From what I gather, it’s a piece of three inch angle. If I make my own, are there any special considerations?

Greg,

Here’s a picture of the original fence system parts I have. Front angle, 2 front tubes with plastic connector, 2 piece back rail & fence. $50.00 + shipping for the entire lot.

See…that’s awesome…the one guy needed parts, and the other had them, just what he was looking for. That is great, this site is great!
