Topic tags/keywords: question shaping traditional rustic

Hi I’m new on here. I am curious how many of you are involved one way or the other in living history programs or reinactment’s , or build black powder guns.

I’m really trying to find someone to apprentice under here in Illinois To learn to build long gun stocks.

Welcome to Lumberjocks!
I remember a project the other day from one of our members, but it was more a haunting rifle…..........I’m sure someone here practices woodwork with long gun stocks, we are 58k woodworkers!

If you search gun stocks you’ll see who builds them. I don’t know how close he is to you, but Hal Dougherty makes incredibly beautiful stocks.
