Anyone else getting sent over to Ted’s woodworking when they hit PULSE. Perhaps there is already a thread on this. I did a brief scan and didn’t see anything so thought I would start a thread. What’s going on with Ted showing up on here. What a scam.

Nope, Mine is set for “All activity” and it goes right to the Pulse page. You may have some sort of re-directing virus. Try re-booting your computer and make sure your anti-virus is up to date.

Thanks Joein10asee – I noticed this a couple of days ago when hitting pulse but thought I may have hit something else. Then tonight I hit pulse and went to Teds. I closed the page and hit pulse again, and all was fine. Just thought it was something everyone may have been seeing. Thanks for your reply.

No problems here – I never used that feature before. I usually click on “forums” and look at the new posts that way.

What is your homepage set to? Hijackers would often set the homepage in the past to where it would go to your homepage “through” some other one.

Also, run linux. ;-)

Thanks guys! Good to know it’s not everyone. I have a great little piece of forensic software I can run to see what could be happening. Wire Shark – It’s a free download. I use it in my day to day job as a Network Admin. This should show me what’s happening when I hit Pulse. Doesn’t happen every time. Either way, I’ll track it down. Thanks again all.

Wireshark would help with the network traffic and would be interesting if you can dig out the info.

Try Process Explorer and Autoruns from Sysinternals (now MS). Both free.
