Anybody mount one on a Delta 22590?

Hi Gene,
Not on a Delta, but I did mount one on my Dewalt 735.

Thanks Gerry, but I was concerned about how it should be mounted as Wixey has no info about how and where to mount it on the 590.

You may have to make up some adapters. The scale is stationary, and looks like it should go on the right side. of your planer. The readout slides up and down the scale, and needs to be mounted to the table in such a way that it doesn’t interfere with the table or extension tables. And there should be no binding, because the readout’s only attachment to the scale is via a magnet.

You can email Wixey, and they will give you info. I mounted a different model (12” range) on my jointer planer combo machine. It’s not difficult. Mr. Wixey himself gave me some tips.

Thanks.
I did contact Wixey and he gave me a few ideas. One of which I’m trying to make work. Need another pair of hands, preferable tiny ones. :-)

Well, none of Barry Wixey’s suggestions will work. He says some customers have mounted it successfully on the Delta 22590. Maybe he can put me in touch with one of them.

Gerry, can you post some pictures of how you mounted it to the 735? I am thinking of adding one to mine.
