Hi Everybody,
Just join the site, basicly to see if anyone has hear of Lowe electric plane by S N Bridge & co. London SW6
no 1177\8. Me and my step father-in-law loved making things from wood, he was a man who loved tools but if he couldn’t find it he’d go and buy another. He always told me the day I leave this earth you most take all my tools home, one small problem their were 10 Sheds full of tools and with me already having my own in my one small shed you can see my trouble.

Some of his tools I had never seen this is one, it very heavy made of metal with three different blade sets, it still works. I have look it up on the web and it seen to be before the company became Stanley Bridge & co.
Their are lots of site showing old hand planing tools, but have not found one on Electric Power tools.

Sorry to say all his sheds had to be pull down do to it been a council property, but gave away most of the good seasoned wood to a local charity. Men In Sheds, a group who make garden and household items a sell to raise money to other pensioners.

My self I can no longer use Heavy tools, but I’m showing my Son-in-law how to D.I.Y. so some of the tools will go on.
