Not sure which form to post this in but here goes.

I have a desk with a keyboard tray that the front is attached with a couple of butler hinges. It has two catches that hold the front up. The catch on the left side the spring is broken and will not function properly. The spring is like a leaf spring. I have included a couple of photos of the clasp on the right side for reference. My question is where can I find a replacement for the broken one on the left side?

Not exactly what you’re looking for, but what about a secretaire catch? If nothing else, maybe it will help out w/ your google searches.

Or buy a side mount rooster catch

I will happily take my finder’s fee in spalted maple, padauk, or 8/4 walnut =)
