Thanks Pete. It has already been noted over on the Sheldon Lathe Yahoo site and there is a lot of buzzing around over it. I have an 11” Sheldon; fine machine. |

Hard to say – a lot depends on how much work it Metal lathes develop tiny amounts of slop in sliding |

that’s an old piece of scrap iron not worth $500 even leave well alone you can do much better for $1500 than that antique junk.IMHO ask these guys I have been with them for years Alistair http://bbs.homeshopmachinist.net/forums/3-General -- excuse my typing as I have a form of parkinsons disease |
