I think it’s a little on the small side, but the important question is how much does a brand new one go for? the stand ought to be worth about I dunno 40 bucks?

They were (are?) about $179.
Mostly aluminum.
Same size Grizzly is about $200, mostly cast iron.

I think folks who mostly work with smaller pieces, like boxes and such, like the smaller machines.
I think I’d pay $50 to $75 for it if I did not have a jointer.

I also think a jointer hand plane would be just as useful and about the same price; less noise and dust.
But, that’s just my opinion.
