I started to collect some old planes and I found that I prefer to have “users”. I’ve been thinking about selling a few of them. I don’t follow the market for antiques and I was just curious what the trend in price is doing. Are the old planes going up in value or is the market saturated?

It’s been next to impossible to find a hand plane bargain on eBay lately, but this is probably due to a lot of planes accumulating in speculator’s hands. Why not list some for sale right here in Lumberjocks “Trade and Swap” and see what happens? Or, simply post a pic in the “Handplanes of your Dreams” thread for some honest appraisals and opinions?
