Hey guys, I’m hoping I get some quick responses here.
I am going next weekend for one week to Anaheim (Disneyland) with the family. While I’m there (when I go anywhere) I’d like to check out a wood store or two. I always try to bring back a piece of wood or two on my trips. Would love something local to CA, like claro walnut, redwood, or something like that. Any thing close by to Disneyland worth looking at? We will be driving to SeaWorld one day as well. A short trip off the beaten path would be fine but nothing too far out of the way.
Thanks!

Ryan

Austin hardwoods in Santa Ana. Fantastic place, close to the freeway but a little tricky to find. Also close to Disney.

So I ended up going to Austin Hardwoods in Santa Ana yesterday. Found a great group of guys and gals with a decent selection of exotic woods. I was hoping to see a bit more wood local to CA like olive wood, Clark walnut, redwood, ECt. But not much like that. I did end up buying a very nice chunk of Tulipwood for a good price compared to what I can get it for at home. I’m siting in the airport in LA now and wonder if customs is gonna give me a hard time at all….
