Topic tags/keywords: question bandsaw

Looking for something else on the Internet, I saw one of this new SHOP FOX W1707 band saw for around $1100.00 with shipping.
Now I am tempted (this hardly more money that LumberJoe paid for his 14” Craftsman) but I do not find any review for it except Amazon.
Do you have one?
Do you like it?
Thank you.
Bertrand

Bert, that is 3 times what I paid for my saw :)

The only issue I would have is 17” is a weird size for a band saw. It’s not likely you will find any interchangable parts if shop fox stops making this (tires specifically)

Joe, How much you paid for your saw?
I thought that was around $800.00.
I just see that the grizzly is less than $900.00

I’ve read good reviews showst that SHOP FOX W1707-17” Bandsaws are fine saws. The price is fine .
It wouldn’t be hard to find tires though. Just get decent bandsaw + good blades. Goodluck .
