I bought this plane on ebay with the plan to clean it up and use it. I’ve since come across a very nice type 13 and I’m going to sell this one. The problem I’m having is identifying it. Everything I’ve read says if the body is blue then it’s a type 20. This is definitely blue (and the paint looks original), but all of the other features point toward a type 19 (2 piece lateral adjustment lever with Stanley stamped vertically, forked lever is one piece casting). Is this possibly a transitional plane at the very end of the type 19 era?
