Anyone know how good these are? I have a chance to pick up a 15” with helical head for $675. Looks like new. Any thoughts? Thanks |

Don’t know about Pioneer, but helical heads are more expensive and worth it. I believe that they are quieter and there are lots of little knives stay sharper longer (but fiddlier to replace). I just bought a General with a helical head but it’s still in the box so I haven’t had a chance to use it yet. -- Mother Nature talks, I try to listen |
