When you factor in their CS, the price is still too high.

If you win you could always sell it and upgrade to a Grizzly. :))

LOL…...

Doesn’t that Roubo book stand look fake? If it is meant to close, it would not as it is pictured. Maybe it is nit picking, but I suppose if you cater to wood workers you would at least try to use something authentic, not a photoshoped pic of a “project” as it seems it is nicely carved.

-- Just because you’ve always done it that way doesn’t mean it’s not incredibly stupid.

Why do vendors always expect or assume that everyone will have a Facebook account?

just like with any marketing technique – they are assuming everyone is following the herd…

I don’t think they’re assuming you have a facebook account, but hoping that this prize will encourage you to sign up for one if you don’t to follow them there. Just marketing, nothing underhanded.

I was just going to say I probably had just enough garage space for a 14” SUV. Don’t have enough room for another bandsaw though.

generick They are probably targeting younger woodworkers, i.e.. those who haven’t been around long enough to have built up a strong dislike for having their chains pulled . . .

The bandsaw looks impressive. I guess it’s going to be one of the many prizes I don’t win again this year.
