Topic tags/keywords: question When you post a comment on a project and then want to go back to the project gallery is there a way besides using the backup button to go there? The only way I have found to get back is to backup through the post screen to the project gallery page and I have noticed that when I do that it doesn’t increment the post counter under the picture. I was wondering if there was a way to go forwards, back to the project page. Am I making sense? -- Dewayne in Bainbridge, Ga. - - No one can make you mad. Only you decide when you get mad - - |

I usually right click, open in new tab. Close the new tab and you are right where you were. -- It must be jelly baby, cause jam don't shake like that... |

Sorry Dewayne, I misunderstood your question and thought you wanted to get back to the project later, than you had commented on previously. What hairy says is what I do to stay on a page, such as Projects or Recent forums. I open pages in a new tab a lot when I’m surfing the internet.. comes in real handy. -- I'll grow up when ketchup bottle farts stop being funny. |

I see what you guys are saying now. Thanks. I know about tabs but hardly ever use them so don’t think about them usually. -- Dewayne in Bainbridge, Ga. - - No one can make you mad. Only you decide when you get mad - - |

Alternatively, you can just hit the “projects” navigation link at the top of the page, which will return you to the main Projects page. -- jay, www.allaboutastro.com |

Jay that takes you back to the first project page. If you are 3-4 pages deep then you have to get back to whatever page you were on. Looks like there would be an easy way inside the forum to return to project page you were on. -- Dewayne in Bainbridge, Ga. - - No one can make you mad. Only you decide when you get mad - - |

I must be missing something here. I just hit the “backspace” key on my computer after posting a comment and I’m back where I left off. -- " I'll try to be nicer, if you'll try to be smarter" gfadvm |

gfadvm you can do it that way and that’s how I have been doing it and that may be the only way to do it but that way it doesn’t increment the view counter under the picture unless you come back to it later. It isn’t really that important but I was just wondering if there was another way to get back to the same gallery page without backing up. -- Dewayne in Bainbridge, Ga. - - No one can make you mad. Ldl, the counter actually does update. When you back out you’re going back in time to the state of the page when you were last there. -- I would drink a river of the kool aid before I took the smallest sip of the tea... |

Agreed with DKV. After you use the back button to go to the gallery page, refresh your page (CTRL-R on a PC, or right click the background and choose “refresh” or “reload”) and the counter will update. |
