Topic tags/keywords: ridgid table saw fence rail

I have a Ridgid R4511 Granite top TS that I am replacing the original 2×2 rails and fence with something better.

I recently acquired two fences for a great deal but no rails included and now I

need the rails. One fence is the Jet Xacta II fence and while I hear its a biesmeyer clone, it looks like it sits on a 2×2.5 guide tube.

The other fence I got is a Steel City Deluxe Fence, 35603 model # on the box. That looks like the guide tube should be 2×2.75” guide tube.

Could some people measure their guide tubes and let me know the sizes. models of rails I’m looking at are:
Shop fox G9221
Biesmeyer 78-130
Jet Xacta
Steel City Deluxe(not the industrial)

Steel City will ship me a 50” rail but I cant get them to tell me if its the guide tube and rails or just the guide tube. expensive shipping if I had to return it.

Any responses would be appreciated. I plan on keeping the one that I can get to fit for the cheapest price.

Also I forgot to ask if anyone has a Crafstman 22166 with the granite top. I know the rail will mount right up but dont know if the guide tube will fit either of these fences. Thanks

I have a granite top Craftsman at work. It has been a while since it was put together but I believe it is closer to the 2.75” mark. It also seems like that was adjustable to some extent? I haven’t had a need to remove the fence for a long time so don’t quote me there.

I’ve got the Jet Xacta II fence on the Shop Fox Classic rails, which should be pretty much the same size as the Biese commercial rails. They’re ~ 2-15/16” x 1-3/4”.
