Hi, what few wood species would you suggest is the best for a chopping board, and least likely to warp as well!?

hard maple is one of the best woods for a cutting board….but any tight grained wood will work——stay away from woods that have open grains llike oak or ash——food can get into those pores and cause problems——and be careful with exotics … some of them can be toxic…..check them out for toxicity before using them for food applications….
