Topic tags/keywords: planer tip question http://southbend.craigslist.org/tls/3560273650.html Here is a link to the posting I thought the price was a little high. I was looking for some pricing, and or positives & negatives. any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I have that same planer and base, and paid $1000 delivered for it, new. He is quite high. That said, if his price was reasonable (I would personally put it somewhere in the $500 range) it’s a real workhorse. -- I long for the days when Coke was a cola, and a joint was a bad place to be (Merle Haggard) |

I talked to the guy and he was very hard nosed at 850. He said “I will leave it to rot before I will give it a way” he claims it has had less than 100 BF run through it since it was new. I made a standing offer at 600, and told him to call me if he has a change of heart. |

there was one just like that on woodnet classifieds recently. really clean and a steal @ $500. -- there's a solution to every problem.......you just have to be willing to find it. |
