Location: Jacksonville FL

I’ve determined that I’m never going to fulfill my desire to work wood as I thought.

Consequently, I want to sell off most of my my major shop tools.
Some have never been use or very lightly as a test.

Some use:
Jet mini lathe with separately bought Multimaster.

Very light use:
Grizzly G0609 12” planer with separate helical cutter head
Woodmaster 38” drum sander
Woodmaster 18” 4-in 1 planer, separate helical cutter head

Following never use:
Dewalt DW788 20” scroll saw
Minimax MM16 bandsaw
Tormax sharpening system with master attachment set – older model.
(latest accessories can be bought to bring it up to date).

I’m not including prices as I’d like to negotiate. I know what they cost and worth today. Hopefully you’ll understand.

Would prefer to sell them all for anyone wanting to equip a new shop.

So, you’re no longer aspiring? What happened? Would it help to talk about it?

I appreciate your concern, but I’m at the point where I’ve lost all interest, as mentioned earlier. I’m sure it’s a confidence issue, more than anything else. I don’t have the compunction to drive myself to do it. So I’ll pursue other interests, like my pepper gardening and take it easy.

May get back into target shooting again. Haven’t done that in over 20 years. Any money i get will finance that endeavor.

shooting? you better hurry (and stock up on ammo). bad moon rising.

peppers…remember when jalapeno was considered hot? now it’s a contest and the jalapeno is considered bush league. we had something similar here with horseradish but that went away…my analogy on both would be a contest to see who could hit themselve in the crotch the hardest…Ok you win…

I will keep an eye on your scroll saw if you end up selling in pieces…if your desire to give up the hobby is driven by fear, you might want to keep that one…other than the blades snapping, you have a greater chance of injury getting out of bed.

IF you want the scroll saw, I’ll let it go for $350.00. It comes with the light attachment also.

I’ve been ordering ammo and buying the guns I want.

As for the peppers. I’e been growing the hottest ones. Bhut Jolokia, CHocolate Habanero for exam[le. I have seed for the latest and hottest peppers now available. We’ll see how they do the next 2 years.

I would sell major pieces of equipment separately, but the helical head goes with the Woodmaster.
IF you know of anyone who wants the Woodmaster and not the head, I don’t have a problem with that.

I figured the helical head with the Woodmaster would be a good selling point.

Have your say...
