I have two cast steel framing chisels and a nice Siegly “45” plow plane for swap. The 1” corner chisel has been welded, but done very well. I could not break it. The slick is 1 3/4” wide and is marked “W Butcher cast steel”. They are razor sharp and ready for use. I’ve put new ash handles with ferrules on them.
The Siegly plane is nice with new cherry handle. I have the original handle to send with it. It was oak and had darkened from contact with the metal of the plane. It has one blade installed. I see I forgot to drive the screw home before picture. It is done successfully now.
I’m looking for a fairly complete Stanley 55 plane set in just about any condition. Maybe a deal can be worked out.
PM me if interested.
