Sold – Sold -Sold I bought this used but I never use it. I have another one that is very similar. I haven’t even sharpened this spokeshave. Here’s what the manufacturer says: The Clifton No. 550 Concave Spokeshaves are virtually unbreakable and easy on the hands. The weight and balance permit the spokeshaves to sit firmly on the wood so that only a stroking action is required to make a cut. You will find the No. 550 to be perfect for shaping curves on furniture legs and for blending in surfaces made by machines such as posts and stair rails. This substantial spokeshave may also be used instead of a drawknife to chamfer square timber. Made of unbreakable spheroidal graphite and malleable iron. The surfaces are finished and polished to give maximum comfort. The firm seating and fine adjustment allow delicate nuances to made in the cut. Length 10”. Honing required before use. Crafted in England. $80 price is firm. These are available on the internet for $110 – $120 plus shipping.
