Hey guys, 1st time poster. I’ve been enjoying this forum for a few months now and thought I would share my latest project and get some constructive criticism as well. It’s a farmhouse table for my daughter, she saw one on the web and ask me to make one. -- missouri, dave |

I used #1 yellow pine consruction 2×10s for the top and legs and 4/4 poplar for the aprons and crossmembers. I was unsure of what type of joinery to use @ the leg and apron but I wanted something strong and something I could make with the tools I had so this is what I came up with( pic#1). What do you think? Will it hold up? -- missouri, dave |

I think it came out awesome and without a doubt it’ll hold up for years to come. Keep on building and keep on posting. -- "there aren’t many hand tools as awe-inspiring as the #8 jointer. I mean, it just reeks of cast iron heft and hubris" - Smitty |

It turned out real nice; welcome to LJ’s. helluvawreck aka Charles -- If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away. Henry David Thoreau |
