Hey guys, 1st time poster. I’ve been enjoying this forum for a few months now and thought I would share my latest project and get some constructive criticism as well.

It’s a farmhouse table for my daughter, she saw one on the web and ask me to make one.

I used #1 yellow pine consruction 2×10s for the top and legs and 4/4 poplar for the aprons and crossmembers.

I was unsure of what type of joinery to use @ the leg and apron but I wanted something strong and something I could make with the tools I had so this is what I came up with( pic#1).

What do you think? Will it hold up?

I think it came out awesome and without a doubt it’ll hold up for years to come. Keep on building and keep on posting.

That’s a first class build. She will be passing that down for sure. And, welcome to the site

That table came out very nice. She should enjoy that for quite a while. Just for general info on posting pictures from other sites. If you put an ! before and after the address the picture will show on your post.

Hey Tim, I’m not real slick on the computer as you can tell, but I’d like to get better.
What are you calling the address?

Thanks Dave

Dave, whatever the address is, put a ! at the beginning and one at the end, like
! http://i47.tinypic.com/2nstbw3.jpg! Don’t put the space between the exclamation and the address, just run it all together. I put a space on the first one, so the picture wouldn’t just show again.
