Topic tags/keywords: corner shelving bookcase door

Going to make corner shelving with a 36” x 89” door. Cut it right down the middle and have some thick ass shelves. I think it’s oak so i’ll just get oak shelves to match. Throw up some molding at the top and bottom.

Not really experienced with stain though. This door will sand up easily and has only been stained. Any suggestions of what to use with old oak stain wise?

Will the door stain up different than new pieces of oak?
