I just figured something out today. It use to be when I commented on a project everyone else that commented would come up in my email. It hasn’t done that in a long time. So I really lost interest. I would have to save my buddies email notifications if I wanted to go back and see what other people’s comments were. Well, since I’m home sick with the flu I finally had time to sit down and look at this. Just figured out that I have to hit watch if I want to see all the other comments made after mine.
So I appoligize to any of my buddies if I didn’t respond to your comment on somebody else’s page or your page. It just means I wasn’t getting the notifications. I probably missed out on alot of fun comments.
I still haven’t figured out though if this should be a forum topic or a blog entry. Sorry, but day 4 of being stuck in the house, it’s time to run to the hardware store and expose someone else to the flu, I have things to do this weekend.

Janice, it’s also good to note that you can follow posts either with or without email notifications. If a person doesn’t want all those emails, they can set their pulse view on the home page to just show items from their watchlist with new comments. That’s what I do, and I find it a lot cleaner than getting an email every time someone comments on a post I’m watching.

Well, now you’re gonna get a bunch of “Get Well Soon” messages… so, allow me to be first! ;-)

You now have the time to catch up and get well. The flu is a real bugger!

you can also go to the pulse page (the real one)
and everything you ever looked at there
will be in grey with new comments
since you last looked
and can ‘cruise’ thru the pages
to as far back as you like
(hit next at the bottom of the page)

get well soon
someone has to get that cabin done

Janice, first of all, hope you feel better soon.
You might also want to note that I have experienced the “watch” de-selecting itself at times, so you may want to check that you are still on “watch” from time to time.

Decided I’m not quite ready to go out in public yet. Maybe tomorrow.
