and other sites display banner ads based on the
cookies.

Clear your browser cookies and the political ads
should go away.

I have my screen size set to 150% for my old eyes and the ads are then off screen.

Yeah the ads are targeted, so if you’re seeing political ads, it’s because you surf political sites or search for political topics a lot. Me, all I see are ads for Woodcraft, Rockler and other woodworking stuff.

The Site Owner can do something about what ads get run. If they were obscene, they could do something about it, couldn’t they? Oh wait. Isn’t that the definition of political ads?
