Hello to all you LJ’s. I have been looking to buy a small drum sander and keep checking Craigs list with no luck. There is a fairly new one on the market by SuperMax and the story I got from my local tool supplier is two of the guys behind the company are from the original Preformax group. Has anyone here purchased one of these units? The sander is a 19-38 compared to Jets 16-32 and of course more money. Would like to get some feed back if anyone has one. Thanks Doug

I played with one at IWF last year. I have a Performax 16/32 so I was comparing features and construction. They are built stronger and with better dust collection. You can get digital height readout. They use bigger motors and the feed belt seemed better as well.
